This 1946 MG TC is a superb example with a lovely history which can be traced right back to its purchase in 1946. The car's first owner only kept it for a matter of months before selling it back to a dealership in Park Lane where the second custodian acquired the car in 1946 and retained it for 56 years before the third registered keeper acquired the car in 2002. The second owner had the foresight to write the ownership history of the car including his tenure and details of the third owner he sold the car to. The fourth and last custodian has more recently set about a significant refresh/recommissioning of the car which has brought it back to being an exceptionally nice car and probably not far from the condition you would have found it when sold in Park Lane. There are some lovely original features such as the dashboard and the rare original steering wheel.

Recent work that has been done to the car includes a full engine rebuild, new paint, new interior using Apple Green leather for the seats, new hood, wiring loom, brakes and much more.It is now an exceptionally nice example and the photographs clearly demonstrate that.

The car starts on the button and runs very well indeed going through the gears without issue. It is a lovely thing to drive.

The history file contains miscellaneous invoices and other documents such as a photograph of the proud second owner with his car in 1946 and again at around the time when he sold the car in 2002. There are also letters on file between the second and third owner who kept in touch and there is discussion about the car which really adds to the provenance.
