Description

This car is by far the best Austin Seven Swallow we have ever had the pleasure of owning.

The car was subjected to a concours restoration in the early 90s with documented costs of around £20k and in total we have invoices pushing on for £25k on file. The restoration was very detailed and means that the car is in what we could class as showroom condition and probably better condition than when the car left the factory in 1931. We have an insurance valuation on file valuing the car at 20k in 1992.

The interior has been completed to a very high standard with Connolly leather and an interior in keeping with how the car would have been fitted out when new.

It is very hard indeed to find good cars and especially Sevens which have a habit of not being treated as well as they should. This car is at the other end of the spectrum and has had a huge amount of money and time lavished on it. There is also a very large history file providing the car with excellent provenance, including a newspaper article about one of the original owners in the 30s.
