This is a fully rebuilt example of an original Austin Seven Van.

The van has been comprehensively restored from the ground up including the body which was totally dismantled and reframed in ash although as much of the original timber was saved as possible. New side panels were fabricated and the van has been reroofed in a correct one piece sheet. The wheels have been shot blasted and enamelled.

The electrics have been totally rewired including flashing indicators and a conversion to 12 volt. The brakes have been completely overhauled including new cables.

The engine has been rebuilt which included the crank being reground along with re-metalled rods and new main bearings. The top end was overhauled as required. The carbs and petrol pump have been rebuilt along with a new clutch and a new flywheel.

All of this work was carried out approximately five years ago and since then the van has seen little use.

This is an exceptional faultless example and is ready to be used and enjoyed. It is also a guaranteed show winner given the near perfect condition.

A very rare vehicle that deserves to be used.
